We are so stoked about this! Our homies at Gowalla featured us on their homepage on Gowalla.com. If you have yet to hear about Gowalla, it’s pretty awesome. It’s a social location sharing application that allows you to check-in with your mobile phone, to wherever you are at, and share your spots with your friends. The Tour of O.C., is utilizing Gowalla as a way to check-in to all the cool spots around Orange County. It’s super addicting and we have been intrigued by the service for some time now.

Longboards Ice Cream Featured in Blisss Magazine!
Blisss Magazine in Orange County has been something we have been reading for years, even back when it was called HAPPY. It’s a core magazine for surf, skate, snow afficianados and it provides hours of good reads each and every month. We were fully pumped when we saw Blisss featuring Longboards in the mag this month. Social Media Day at OC Register
Yesterday was awesome to put it lightly. We kicked the Tour of OC off by hooking up with the OC Register at their Social Media Day event, which was the fourth largest in the entire World! Mad props to Lelani at OC Register for getting this thing dialed better than any operator ever could. Check out some of the photos from the event…

USA Surf Team Party!
So thanks to our friends at the Western Surfing Association, we got hooked up with a sponsorship gig at the USA Surf Team party in San Clemente, CA recently. It was a great evening at the historic casino and almost every major surf industry head was in the building. We got some prime placement at the event and even got to park the sprinter van right up front.
Barrel crushers like Kolohe Andino and Catherine Clark were downing our bars in style. It was good to meet these up-and-coming surf superstars along with the rest of the team! We are looking forward to more interaction with these guys in the coming years! USA USA USA!
RVCA x Longboards at the Pac Sun Beach BallyHoo
We are completely amped to announce we will be hanging out with RVCA at the upcoming Beach BallyHoo presented by PacSun, June 19th & 20th, which is a Saturday and Sunday at the Santa Monica Beach Parking Lot, #1 North. We will be waxing and rolling all weekend long with the dudes from RVCA. Come on down and get some bars!
Here’s the thing though, although this event is FREE, you still need a ticket to get in. The only way to get a ticket is to go to your nearest PacSun and ask them for one or several. Make sure you don’t get lazy though cuz this is seriously going to be a bangin’ good time so come and kick it with Longboards and RVCA!
